Using the function Discount ladder you can create discounts for selected tools or all tools with an increasing discount rate the  more licences the customer buys. It's also possible to trigger the discount ladder based on the order value, the greater the value the higher discount rate.   Unlike discount codes you do not have to ditribute any code, the discount will be applied and visible for the selected customers when they make a purchase in Skolon.
Below you will find basic information describing how discount ladders work.

A discount ladder can be connected to one or several tools and one or several customers and divided in one or several steps. For instance, more than 400 licences  => X % discount, more than 1000 licences => Y % discount. You can also base the discount ladder on order value, for instance more than 5000 SEK  => X % discount, more than 10000 SEK => Y % discount.
When the customer reaches the higher discount level that discount is applied to all licences in the order.

Any other discounts created in the Partner Portal can not be combined with a discount from the discount ladder, only the discount that is most favorable for the customer is applied. 

Calulation 

The discount for each order line is calculated by summing the number of licences, or value, in the order for the tools that is connected to the discount ladder, or discount ladders, that the order line is a part of. 

I.e, if an order has a line with 100 licences for Tool A, a line with 200 licences for Tool A and a line with 100 licences for Tool B, all three order lines will get the get the discount from the step of 400 licences (Provided that both Tool A and Tool B are included in the same discount ladder).

If a tool is included in several discount ladders, the number of licences, or value, is calculated for all the ladders but only the most favorable discount for the customer is applied to the order line. 

Combining discounts 

Discount from discount ladders can not be combinded with discount codes. 

Subscription 

Discount from a discout ladders is also applied on subscriptions that are created from purchases of products with automatic renewals.
